HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 15117:~:-rx'" 05-31-02 P12 21 IN ~= ORDINANCE NO /~ ~ / AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE BY 75-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 11, BLOCK 7R, STONEGATE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS. SECTION 1 THAT a 10-foot wide by 75-foot long utility easement containing 750 square feet, situated in Lot 11, Block 7R, Stonegate Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 4108, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. DISCUSSION Oak Hill Apartment, LP and Henry A. Mitchell, owners of the above-described properties, have requested vacation of the referenced utility easement to replat with adjoining land Charter Cable Communications has an underground cable in the immediate area The Engineering Department, Real -Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and other public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
