ORDINANCE NO /~ ~ /
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 75-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 11,
BLOCK 7R, STONEGATE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1
THAT a 10-foot wide by 75-foot long utility easement containing 750 square feet,
situated in Lot 11, Block 7R, Stonegate Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 4108, Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

FOR VACATING A 10 FOOT PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENT
BEING a portion of that tract of land situated m the S C.Ininan Survey, Abstract Number 824, City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion of Lot 11, Bloclc 7R, Stonegate Addition, an addition to
the City of fort Worth, recorded m Cabinet "A", Shde 4108 of Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas and
being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows;
COMMENCING at the southwest corner of said Block 7R, and the south corner of said Lot 11, m the
east right-of--way of Oak Hill Circle (a variable width right-of--way) at the beginning of anon-tangent curve
to the right;
THENCE v~nth said non-tangent curve to the right, with said east right-of--way, an arc distance of 57.26
feet, through a central .angle of OS°53'04", having a radius of 557.50 feet, the long chord of which bears N
32°16'04"W, 57.23 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
THENCE with said non-tangent curve to the right and said east right-of--way, an arc distance of 10 00 feet,
through a central angle of O1°01'40", having a radius of 557.50 feet, the long chord of which bears N

THENCE N 61°42'08"E, 75 00 feet, departing said east nght-of--way, to the begmnmg of anon-tangent
curve to the left;

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by 75-
foot long utility easement in Lot 11, Block 7R, containing 750 square feet, Stonegate Addition, an
addition to the City of Fort Worth, as recorded in Cabinet "A" Slide -4108 of the Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
Oak Hill Apartment, LP and Henry A. Mitchell, owners of the above-described properties, have
requested vacation of the referenced utility easement to replat with adjoining land Charter Cable
Communications has an underground cable in the immediate area
The Engineering Department, Real -Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and other public utility companies have raised no
objections to this request. An acceptable replat has been received (FS-02-035)
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
