ORDINANCE NO. I~ ~ I S
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 373.86-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOTS A
THROUGH F, BLOCK 1, TRINITY PLACE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN
SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT a 10-foot wide by 373.86-foot long utility easement containing 3,793
square feet, situated in Lots A through F, Block 1, Trinity Place Addition to the City of
Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and as recorded in Volume 388-K, Page 12, Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated
and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the .above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption.

RECOMMENDATION:
It is recorrlmended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by
373.86-foot long utility easement within Lots A through F, Block 1, containing 3,793 square feet, Trinity
Place Addition, as shown on the plat thereof recorded in Volume 388-K, Page 12, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas.
DISCUSSION:
A. N (AI) Littlefield,. owner of the above described properties, has requested vacation of the referenced
utility easement to expand the building area and to replat with the adjoining land.
The Engineering Department,. Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1.00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. There are no utilities within. the proposed vacated easement. A~n acceptable replat has
been received (FS-02-039).
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7. .-
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION:
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
