' "O~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 5-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT, REMINGTON POINT ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1 THAT the 5-foot wide by 100-foot long utility easement, containing 500 square feet, situated in Lot 12, Block 2, Remington Point Addition, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5277, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. DISCUSSION R.H of Texas, L.P ,Dallas, Texas, owners of the above-described property, have requested vacation of the utility easement to increase the buildable area of the lot. No utilities are present in the portion of the overall easement, that is requested for vacation The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
