ORDINANCE NO. lSDa I
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 702.03-FOOT LONG SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT, LOCATED IN
LOTS 4 THROUGH 15, BLOCK 5, PARKSIDE EAST ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREVJiTH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT a 10-foot wide by 702 03-foot long sanitary sewer easement, located in
Lots 4 through 15, Block 5, Parkside East Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, and as recorded
in Volume 388-79, Page 41 of the Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more
specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fees to the land in the above described vacated sanitary sewer
easements are hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by
law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its aassage, and it is so ordained

FIELD NOTES
BEING the centerline description on an 10 foot wide sanifory sewer
easement as shown to be abandoned, after the construction of the
new sanitary sewer line, over Lot 4,5,6,7.8,9,10,11,12,13,14 and Lot
15, Block 5, Parkside Eost, on addition to the City of Fort Worth,
according to the plof thereof recorded in Volume 388-79, Poge 41,
Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas and being two separate lines
and being more particularly described Line A and Line B, as follows;
COMMENCING at o 1 / 2 inch iron road found for the northwest
corner of Lot 6.
THENCE S. 12'18'42" E., for a distance of 25.62 feet to an existing
sanitary sewer manhole far the Point of Beginning of herein described
sold Line A and Line B;
THENCE S. 35'2329` W., with the centerline of said Line A, over said
Lot 6. of 10.15 feet passing the common east line of sold Lot 5,
with the common east line of said Lot 6 and continuing 5.35'23'29`
W., over said Lot 5 and Lot 4 for o tofol distance of 108.47 feet to
o point in the south line of said Lot 4 and the north line of Burton
Street (50' R.O.W) and being the terminating point for sold Line A
abandoned;
BEGINNING again for Line B of existing sanitary sewer manhole in sold
Lot 6,
THENCE S 80'24'25" E., with the existing centerline of said Line 8, to
be abandoned and traversing over and across said Lots
6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14 and Lot 15, for a total distance 593.56 feet to
the terminating point for Line 8 and being in the south line of said
Lot 15 and the north line of said Burton street.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot by 702 03-foot
sanitary sewer easement, situated in Lots 4 through 15, Block 5, Parkside East Addition, as recorded in
Volume 388-79, Page 41, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
Blairbrook Homes, Crowley, Texas, owners of the above-described property, have requested vacation
of the afore described 10-foot sanitary sewer easement to enable development of the lots upon which
the easement is situated A replacement and re-located sewer and easement is in place
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest.
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A
replat is required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
