ORDINANCE NO. ~~ ~~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 26-FOOT WIDE
BY 218.58-FOOT LONG FIRE LANE, EMERGENCY ACCESS AND
UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 4R, BLOCK 9, CITYVIEW
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 26-foot wide by 218 58-foot long fire lane, emergency access and utility
easement containing 5,683 square feet, situated in Lot 4R, Block 9, Cityview Addition to
the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide
7217, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in
Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is
vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated fire lane, emergency
access and utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner
as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of -ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

FIRELANE, EMERGENCY ACCESS & UTILITY EASEMENT
Being a 0 1305 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the John Heath Survey Abstract No
641, Tarrant County, Texas, and being part of LOT 4R of BLOCK 9 (a 3.551 acre tract of land), Cityview
Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth according to the PLAT recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 7217 of
the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas (P R.T C T ), and being more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at a 1/2-inch found iron rod with yellow plastic cap stamped "HALFF ASSOC INC " at the
southeast corner of said Lot 4R, Block 9 and the most westerly northeast corner of Lot 3R, Block 9 (a 12.342
acre tract) according to the PLAT recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 7217 of (P R.T C T ),
THENCE North 89 degrees 57 minutes 57 seconds West, along the common line of said Lot 3R and Lot4R,
a distance of 10.27 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE North 44 degrees 53 minutes 50 seconds West, continuing along said common line, a distance of
225 00 feet to a to a point for corner;

THENCE North 45 degrees 03 minutes 27 seconds West, along said southwest line, a distance of 218.58

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 26-foot wide by
218 58-foot long fire lane, emergency access and utility easement containing 5,683 square feet in Lot
4R, Block 9, Cityview Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide
7217, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION -
Baylor-All Saints Medical Centers, owners of the above described property, has requested vacation of
the referenced fire lane, emergency access and utility easement to expand the building area Existing
improvements include paving, with no known utilities therein
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request An acceptable replat has been provided (FS-002-010)
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
