ORDINANCE NO. /~~~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 150-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT, LOCATED IN LOT 1,
BLOCK 19R, CHAMBERLIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ADDITION, 2ND
FILING, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the 10-foot wide by 150-foot long utility easement situated in Lot 1, Block
19R, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, 2"d Filing, and as recorded in Volume 388-
85, Page 4, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and containing approximately 1,500
square feet, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows.
COMMENCING at a 5/8 inch iron rod found at the northeast property corner of said Lot 1,
Block 19R, said point being at the intersection of the south right-of--way line of Diaz Avenue (an
80' right-of--way) and the west right-of--way line of Eldridge Avenue (a 60' right-of--way),
THENCE S00°00'00"E, 123 10 feet along the west right-of--way line of Eldndge Avenue to the
POINT OF BEGINNING,
THENCE S90°00'00"W, 150 00 feet leaving said west right-of--way line,

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by 150-
foot long utility easement containing 1,500 square feet within Lot 1, Block 19R, Chamberlin Arlington
Heights Addition, 2nd Filing, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Volume 388-85, Page
4, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Aslam Khan, owner of the above described property, has requested vacation of the referenced utility
easement to expand the building area There are no known utilities in this easement.
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. An acceptable replat has been provided (FS-002-012)
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7
