HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 15129s~ J w ORDINANCE NO. /~~~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE BY 150-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT, LOCATED IN LOT 1, BLOCK 19R, CHAMBERLIN ARLINGTON HEIGHTS ADDITION, 2ND FILING, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT the 10-foot wide by 150-foot long utility easement situated in Lot 1, Block 19R, Chamberlin Arlington Heights Addition, 2"d Filing, and as recorded in Volume 388- 85, Page 4, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and containing approximately 1,500 square feet, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 2 That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained ~. The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
