ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 536-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASMENT LOCATED IN LOTS 1 AND 2,
BLOCK C, RIVER HILLS PHASE 1, FORT WORTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That a 10-foot wide by 536-foot long utility easement, containing 5,277 square feet,
located in Lots 1 and 2, Block C, River Hills Phase 1, as recorded in Volume 388-195, Page 8,
Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above-described vacated utility easement is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

BEING a tract of land situated m the John F Heath Survey, Abstract Number 641, City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and being a portion of Lots 1 and 2, Block C, River Hills Phase 1,
as recorded m Volume 388-195, Page 8, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas and being more
particularly described by metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at the southeast property corner of said Lot 1, same being the northeast property
corner of said Lot 2, and being m the westerly nght-of--way of John Ryan Dnve (a 68' nght-of-
way), and being m a curve to the left;
THENCE with said westerly nght-of--way line and with said curve to the left, through a central
angle of 00°23'58", having a radius of 738 00 feet, the long chord of which bears S 16°01'03"W,

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by 536-
foot long utility easement, containing 5,277 square feet, located in Lots 1 and 2, Block C, River Hills
Phase 1, as recorded in Volume 388-195, Page 8, Plat. Records, Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
BB Genpar, Inc. and Thomas R. Delatour, Jr , owners of the above described properties
have
,
requested vacation of the referenced utility easement to expand yard and building areas. There are no
known utilities in this easement.
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
