AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE
BY 122-FOOT LONG UTILITY EASEMENT, LOCATED IN LOTS 1 AND
22, BLOCK 3, SUN VALLEY ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS.
SECTION 1
THAT the 10-foot wide by 122-foot long utility easement situated in Lots 1 and
22, Block 3, Sun Valley Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, and as recorded in Volume 388-T,
Page 76, and in Volume 388-V, page 92, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and
containing 1,220 square feet, more or less, and as more specifically described in Exhibit
A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated
and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

Being a portion of a ten foot (10') Utility Easement srtuated m the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas and being a portion of Lot 1, Block 3, Sun Valley Addition according to the plat
recorded m Volume 388-T, Page 76 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas and a portion
of Lot 22, Block 3, Sun Valley Addition according to the plat recorded in Volume 388-V, Page
92 of said Deed Records, said portion of a ten foot (10') Utility Easement being described by
metes and bounds as follows
BEGINNING at the intersection of the West line of said Lot 22 with the South ]me of said ten
foot (10') Utility Easement, from said intersection, a found 5/8 inch iron rod at the southwest
corner of said Lot 22, bears SOUTH 00 degrees 13 minutes 00 seconds WEST, a distance of
132 80 feet;
THENCE NORTH 00 degrees 13 minutes 00 seconds EAST, along the West line of said
Lot 22, passing at 5 00 feet the southwest corner of said Lot 1 and continuing
along the West line of said Lot 1, a total distance of 10 00 feet to the mtersect~on
of the North line of said ten foot (10') Utility Easement with the West line of said

THENCE NORTH 89 degrees 59 minutes 00 seconds EAST, along the North line of said

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by 122-
foot long utility easement situated in Lots 1 and 22, Block 3, Sun Valley Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as
recorded in Volume 388-T, Page 76 and in Volume 388-V, Page 92, Deed Records, Tarrant County,
Texas, and containing 1,220 square feet, more or less
DISCUSSION
AI Dossani, et. al , owners of the above affected property, have requested vacation of the utility
easement to facilitate development of the two lots adjacent thereto Existing utilities have been
relocated at the applicant's expense
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. A replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
