This increase is not included in the 2001-2002 budget adopted by the City Council The recommended fee increase will provide sufficient revenue to finance this special cleanup program through March 31, 2003 The City's garbage fee will still compare favorably to other major Texas cities after this proposed adjustment. ~ FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that upon approval of the above recommendations and adoption of the attached appropriation ordinances, funds will be available in the current operating budget, as appropriated, of the Solid Waste Fund The Water Department, as billing agent, is responsible for the collection of funds from solid waste customers.
