ORDINANCE NO. ~~~ ~~'~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 60-FOOT WIDE
BY 864-FOOT LONG SEGMENT OF HILLDALE ROAD, AS SITUATED
IN LOTS 1, 7 AND 8, BLOCK 3, AND LOTS 2 AND 3, BLOCK 1,
VILLAGE CREEK INDUSTRIAL PARK ADDITION, FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND,
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-WITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 60-foot wide by 864-foot segment of Hilldale Road, lying between Brush
Creek Road and Wilbarger Street, and as situated in Lots 1, 7 and 8, Block 3, and Lots
2 and 3, Block 1, Village Creek Industrial Park Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded
in Volume 388-202, Page 65 and 66, in the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas and
as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 60-foot wide by 864-
foot long segment of Hilldale Road between Brush Creek Road and Wilbarger Street, as situated in
Lots 1, 7 and 8, Block 3, and Lots 2 and 3, Block 1, Village Creek Industrial Park, as recorded in
Volume 388-202, Pages 65 and 66 of the Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
JaGee Properties, Inc., Fort Worth, Texas, owner of the above affected property, has requested
vacation of the street to facilitate the development of the surrounding property owned by the applicant.
There are no physical improvements therein, and the street was obtained via deed
The City Plan Commission recommended approval at its Public Hearing on September 22, 1999
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. An acceptable replat has been received
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
