DISCUSSION
Each year a wholesale wastewater rate study is prepared in accordance with the terms of the uniform
wholesale customer contracts
For FY2003, the wholesale water cost of service study was completed by Water Department staff
based on the 2002 wholesale water cost of service study by Camp, Dresser & McKee, Inc The
wholesale wastewater cost of service study was completed in 2001 by Black and Veatch Corporation
The result of these studies indicated the rates, as proposed below, will recover the cost of providing
wholesale water and wastewater service
A joint meeting of the Wholesale Water Advisory Committee and the Wholesale Wastewater Advisory
Committee was held July 25, 2002, to present the study and the rate requirements
