AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING EIGHT 10-FOOT
BY 10-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENTS, LOCATED IN LOTS 2, 4, 6 AND 8,
BLOCK 4, AND LOTS 2, 4, 6, AND 8, BLOCK 5, THE VINEYARDS AT
HERITAGE ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT eight 10-foot long by 10-foot wide utility easements, located in Lots 2, 4, 6,
and 8, Block 4, and Lots 2, 4, 6, and 8, Block 5, The Vineyards at Heritage Addition,
Fort Worth, Texas, and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6723, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas, as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fees to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating eight 10-foot by 10-foot
utility easements, located in Lots 2, 4, 6 and 8, Block 4, and Lots 2, 4, 6 and 8, Block 5, The Vineyards
at Heritage Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6723, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Centex Homes, Carrollton, Texas, owners of the above-described adjacent property, has requested
vacation of the utility easements to enable yard development for single-family homes The utilities have
been adjusted at the applicant's expense to satisfy the utility company
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest.
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A
replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4
