AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF
UTILITY EASEMENT LOCATED IN LOT 19, BLOCK 5, COVENTRY
HILLS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 2 5-foot wide by 110-foot long portion of a 7 5-foot wide utility easement
and containing approximately 275 square feet along the east lot line of Lot 19, Block 5,
Coventry Hills Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5762, Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and
extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

SUBJECT UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION, LOT 19, BLOCK 5, COVENTRY HILLS ADDITION,
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (VA-01-1022)
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 2.5-foot wide by 110-
foot long portion of a 7 5-foot wide utility easement situated along the east lot line of Lot 19, Block 5,
Coventry Hills Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5762, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas, containing approximately 275 square feet.
DISCUSSION
James Stone, Plano, Texas, owner of the above-described adjacent property, has requested vacation
of the above described utility easement to enable building expansion No utilities exist within the
portion of the easement to be vacated The lot is located at 4811 Stetson Drive, Fort Worth, Texas
The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest.
.Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A
~replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4
