r ~~ - ~, /~~~~ ORDINANCE NO AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING THE 2800 BLOCK AVENUE B, A 60-FOOT WIDE BY 627-FOOT LONG PORTION BETWEEN THRALL STREET AND NASHVILLE AVENUE, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS. SECTION 1. That the 2800 Block of Avenue B, approximately 60-foot wide by 627-foot long located adjacent to the following lots. • Lot 1, Robert E. Lee Anderson's Subdivision according to the plat recorded in Volume 388-D, Page 556, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • Lots 1 and 2, Anderson's Subdivision according to the plat recorded in Volume 388, Page 43, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • Lot 6-A and 7-A, Cora Smith Addition according to the plat recorded in Volume 388-J, Page 30, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • Lots 1 through 3, Walkup Addition according to the plat recorded in Volume 975, Page 39, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • Lot 5, Cora Smith Addition, according to the plat recorded in Volume 605, Page 572, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • Lots 9 and 10, Walkup Addition, according to the plat recorded in Volume 388-K, Page 166, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, • TR S1-12, J Van Ripper Survey and containing 0 864 acres of land; and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 2 That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law a~ _s- SECTION 3. The City Plan Commission recommended approval at its public hearing on January 23, 2002 The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
