ORDINANCE NO. 15577
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING THE 2700 BLOCK
OF THIRTY- SECOND STREET BETWEEN BLOCKS 108 AND 109,
ROSEN HEIGHTS ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS; AND VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING PORTIONS
OF TWO EASEMENTS IN BLOCKS 109 AND 108 OF ROSEN HEIGHTS
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
THE REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
THAT the following street and easements
1 The 2700 block of 32nd Street, lying between Blocks 108 and 109, Rosen
Heights Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Volume
204A, Page 154 of the Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and
2 a portion of a twenty foot (20') wide easement described in City of Fort
Worth Ordinance 9635, located in Block 109, Rosen Heights Addition to
the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and as recorded in Volume 204A, Page
154, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and
3 a five foot (5') wide utility easement, located in Block 108, Rosen Heights
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and as recorded in Volume 388-
199, Page 36, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas,
and as more specifically described in Exhibit "A ", attached hereto and
incorporated herein, by reference be and the same are vacated and
extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described street and easements is released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law

SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating the following street and
utility easements
a A 60 -foot wide street. 2700 Block of NW 32nd Street situated between Blocks 108 and 109,
Rosen Heights Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume
204A, Page 154 of the P R T C T , and
b A 20 -foot wide utility. easement. Portion of the 20 foot utility easement described in City of Fort
Worth Ordinance No 9635 situated in Block 109, Rosen Heights Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 204A, Page 154 of the P R.T C T, and
c. A 5 -foot wide utility easement. Situated in Block, Rosen Heights Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Volume 388 -199, Page 36 of the P R.T C T
DISCUSSION
The Fort Worth Independent School District, owner of the above - described properties, has requested
vacation of the above referenced street and utility easements for a future elementary school.
The City Plan Commission recommended approval at its public hearing on August 28, 2002. The
Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the
public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to
this request. An acceptable replat has been provided (FS -02 -148)
