HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 15297:-~ ORDINANCE NO. /~-~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF THE 2700 BLOCK OF POLLARD STREET, MEASURING 50 FEET WIDE BY 386 FEET LONG, LOCATED IN POLLARD ESTATES, FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-WITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: .~ SECTION 1. THAT a portion of the 2700 block of Pollard Street, measuring 50 feet wide by 386 feet long, located between Lots 20, 21, 22 and a portion of 23 of the Pollard Estates, and Lots 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the W G Smith Subdivision, and Lot 59 of the Pollard Estates, additions to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, and containing 0 44 acres, and as recorded in Volume 974, Page 123, of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of--way is hereby released and shall revert #o the adjacent owners as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. There are no known utilities within the said street. The City Plan Commission recommended approval at its' May 22, 2002 public hearing The Engineering Department, Real Property Services Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
