ORDINANCE NO. ~~~ 7
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING FOUR 2.5-FOOT
WIDE BY 110-FOOT LONG UTILIITY EASEMENTS, LOCATED IN LOTS
11 AND 12, BLOCK 26, AND LOTS 6 AND 7, BLOCK 30, MARINE
CREEK ESTATES ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT four 2 5-foot wide by 110-foot long utility easement, located in Lots 11 and
12, Block 26, and Lots 6 and 7, Block 30 of Marine Creek Estates Addition, Fort Worth,
Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6456, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, as
more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements are
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating four 2.5-foot wide by
110-foot long utility easements located in Lots 11 and 12, Block 26, and Lots 6 and 7, Block 30 of
Marine Creek Estates Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 6456, Plat Records,
Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
The Continental Homes of Dallas, LP, owners of the above-described property, has requested vacation
of four 2.5-foot wide utility easements as described above, for purposes of yard expansion and building
development. No utilities were required to be abandoned or relocated
The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division states that a fee of $1 00 satisfies
the public interest.
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An
acceptable replat has been received
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
