HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14631..r°r ORDINANCE NO. ~~~' ~~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A MEANDERING 5-FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT IN A PORTION OF LOT 4R5 AND 4R2A, BLOCK 2, CITYVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, AND A PORTION OF AN 0117 PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT AND RELATED OPEN SPACE EASEMENTS LOCATED WITHIN A PART OF LOTS 4R5, 4R6 AND 4R2A, BLOCK 2, CITYVIEW ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE ' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT a 5-foot utility easement in a portion of Lot 4R5 and 4R2A, Block 2, Cityview Addition, to the City of Fort Worth, .and a portion of an 0 117 public access easement and related public open space easements located on a part of Lots 4R5, 4R6 and 4R2A, in Block 2, Cityview Addition, to the City of Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded in Cabinet A. DISCUSSION James Ziglar of United Commercial Development, Fort Worth, owner of the above-described adjacent property, has requested vacation of the above described access and utility easement to facilitate building area expansions The access easement traverses and serves property owned by the applicant, and therefore does not require Plan Commission action Existing water, telephone and electric utilities are to be relocated at the applicant's request, or ppropriate easements will be retained therefor The Engineering Department, Real Property anagement Division has determined that the applicant previously dedicated these easements by plat and that an acquisition fee of $1 00 is required Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
