D DAVIS SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1888, TRACTS 2 AND 2B, ANDS T RHODES SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1868, TRACTS 2 AND 2B1, FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That 1,650 linear feet of Keller-Haslet/Haslet Roanoke Road, a 50-foot wide right-of-way located in the Z. D Davis Survey, Abstract No 1888, Tracts 2 and 2B, and the S T Rhodes Survey, Abstract No 1868, Tracts 2 and 2B1, containing approximately 1 8 acres of land, as recorded in Volume 7372, Page 566, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2 That the fee to the land in the above described street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed SECTION 4. D DAVIS SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1888, TRACTS 2 AND 26, AND THE S T RHODES SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO 1868., TRACTS 2 AND 261, FORT WORTH, TEXAS (VA-00- 040 RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating 1,650 linear feet of Keller-Haslet/Haslet Roanoke Road, a 50-foot wide right-of-way located in the Z. D Davis Survey, Abstract No 1888, Tracts 2 and 2B, and the S T Rhodes Survey, Abstract No 1868, Tracts 2 and 2B1, containing approximately 1 8 acres of land, as recorded in Volume 7372, Page 566 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas. DISCUSSION Bud Hudgins, Fort Worth, Texas, owner of the adjacent property, has requested vacation of the above- described roadway to facilitate replatting of the adjacent land The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division has determined a vacation value of $1 00, as the street was acquired through plat dedication A replacement road has been approved by the Transportation and Public Works Department. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An acceptable replat has been received This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 2.
