AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEII'TS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN
THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,368 FROM
AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
FUNDING FOR IlVIPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 10; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABII.ITY
CLAUSE; MAHING THLS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND
REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF.FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That in.addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 and in the
Budget of the City Manager,. there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Special Assessment
District Fund in the amount of $33,368.00 from available funds for the purpose of providing fiscal year 2001-2002
funding for Improvement District No. 10.
SECTION 2.
Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions,
sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance is the first of such ordinances, and shall be cumulative henceforth, with all other ordinances and
appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are indirect conflict
with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said .conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and
appropriations are hereby expressly repealed.
SEC'T'ION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

(EXPANDED DOWNTOWN), ADOPTION OF APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AND
LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council
Hold a benefit hearing on October 30, 2001 concerning the proposed property assessments for
Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and
2 Close the benefit hearing, and
3 Adopt the attached ordinance which levies the proposed assessments, and
4 Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations by
$33,368 in the Special Assessment District Fund from available funds
DISCUSSION
On October 16, 2001 (M&C G-13407), the City Council directed that certain improvements and/or
services (improvements) should be provided in Fort Worth Public Improvement District No 10 during
the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 The City Council also adopted the proposed assessment roll and authorized
notice of this benefit hearing
The improvements to be provided and the costs thereof are as follows.
Total Cost To Be Assessed
Maintenance and Landscaping Program $91,750 $33,368
Management Program 2 512 -0-
Total $94,262 $33,368*
* The $60,894 difference between total costs and assessments includes $1,020 in direct payments from
the City, which was appropriated from the General Fund balance by the City Council on October 16,
2001 (M&C G-13407), $52,522 in revenues from other Special Improvement District activities
generated from PID No 1, and $7,352 from "The T" for contract services
All costs of improvements shall be assessed against private property located in the District and the
owners of the property The City Manager has filed with the City Secretary a proposed assessment roll
and an estimate of the assessments against each parcel

(EXPANDED DOWNTOWN), ADOPTION OF APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AND
LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS FOR FISCAL YEAR 2001-2002
Based on the appraised value of the property, and considering the benefits to be received from the
proposed improvements, it is the opinion of City staff that each parcel of property will be enhanced in
value by an amount equal to or more than the proposed assessments upon completion of the
improvements in accordance with the contract.
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that upon adoption of the attached ordinances, funds will be available in
the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 operating budget, as appropriated, of the Special Assessment District Fund
