HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14640ORDINANCE NO.-~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 10-FOOT WIDE BY 375-FOOT LONG UTILIITY EASEMENT, LOT 6, BLOCK 2, B HARRIS SUBDIVISION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, .._w_~ PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT a 10-foot wide by 375-foot long utility easement, containing approximately 3,750 square feet, located in Lot 6, Block 2, B Harris Subdivision, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Volume 6152, Pages 819 through 823, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and extinguished SECTION 2. Texas, and containing approximately 3,750 square feet. DISCUSSION Pete V and Rebecca A. Fuentes, Fort Worth, Texas, owners of the above-described property, have requested vacation of the afore-described Texas Electric Service Company easement to facilitate construction of a swimming pool It is determined that no public facilities are found to exist within the easement. The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division states that a $1 00 acquisition fee will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
