HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14542ORDINANCE NO.~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF NORRIS STREET AND MISCELLANEOUS EASEMENTS, EDGEWOOD TERRACE ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That two 10-foot by 220-foot long utility easements located in Lots 5 and 6-R, Block 9-R-B of Edgewood Terrace Addition, and Lots 7 and 8-R, Block 9-R-A, Edgewood Terrace Addition, as situated in Volume 388-202, Page 24, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and a 10-foot by 120-foot long drainage easement located in Lot 14-R, Block 8-R, Edgewood Terrace Addition as situated in Volume 11.587, Page 634, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and the east 162 feet of Norris Street from e its easterly terminus of the Edgewood Terrace Addition to the City of Fort Worth, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same are vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2 That the fee to the land in the above described partially released public access easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An acceptable replat has been received This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5 FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
