AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 30-FOOT WIDE
SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT, L. C KING SURVEY, ABSTRACT NO.
906, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 30-foot wide by 820 foot long sanitary sewer easement, located in the
L C King Survey, Abstract No 906, Tarrant County, Texas, and being a portion of a
115 349 acre tract of land in the deed to the Ranches North, Ltd , as recorded in
Volume 14727, Page 179, Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, containing
approximately 0 564 acres, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached

hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned
and permanently closed and extinguished

That the fee to the land in the above described vacated sanitary sewer easement
are hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed

That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

BEING an easement situated in the L.C. King Survey, Abstract No. 906, Tarrant County, Texas and being a
portion of the 115.349 acre tract described in the deed to The Ranches North, Ltd , a Texas Limited
Partnership, as recorded in Volume 14727, Page 179, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas•
BEGINNING at a found ~/i' iron pin found for the southwest corner of the said 115.349 acre
tract and the northwest corner of Lost Creek Ranch Addition as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide
6476, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas;
THENCE North 00° 31' 32" West, with the west line of the 112.72 acre tract, 30 00 feet;
THENCE East, parallel to the south line of the 112.72 acre tract, 820 00 feet;
THENCE South 30 feet to a point on the south line of the 112.72 acre tract;

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 30-foot wide by 820-
foot long sanitary sewer easement, located in the L C King Surrey, Abstract No 906, Tarrant County,
Texas, and a portion of a 115 349 acre tract of land in the deed to the Ranches North, Ltd , as recorded
in Volume 14727, Page 179, Deed Records Tarrant County, Texas, and containing approximately 0 564
acres.
DISCUSSION
Ranches North, Ltd , owners of the above-described property, have requested vacation of the said
easement to enable subdivision development. The Engineering Department, Real Property
Management Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest.
This easement is located in the City's extraterritorial jurisdiction, and the sewer line has been relocated
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A
replat is not required
This easement is located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Fort Worth
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
