ORDINANCE NO. 1 ~I-16~~
AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 20-FOOT WIDE
BY 210-FOOT LONG UTILIITY EASEMENT, LOT 1, BLOCK 1 SPRINT
COMMUNICATION ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND,
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 20-foot wide by 210-foot long utility easement, located in Lot 1, Block 1,
Sprint Communication Addtion, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet B, Slide
1701, Deed Records, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect upon adoption

Tarrant County, Texas said 4,200 6 square feet being more particularly described by
metes and bounds as follows,
COMMENCING at the southeast corner of sand Lot 1 Block 1 of sand Spnnt
Communications Addrtron,
THENCE, North 00 degrees 03 mrnutes 45 seconds West, along .the east line of sand Lot
1, 20 0 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING at the southeast corner of the tract of land

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 20-foot by 210-foot
utility easement in Lot 1, Block 1, Sprint Communication Addition, Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in
Cabinet B, Slide 1701, Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Sprint Communications Company, LP of Fort Worth, owners of the above-described property, have
requested vacation of the said easement to facilitate building expansion on the site
The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division states that an acquisition fee of
$1 00 is required to satisfy the public interest.
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An
acceptable replat has been received
This property is .located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 8
