AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND ESTINGUISHING THREE 10-FOOT
WIDE UTILIITY EASEMENTS, LOCATED IN THE LAKE WORTH
LEASES, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE '
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT three (3) 10-foot wide utility easements of 125-feet, 121 56-feet and
160 9-feet long, in Lots 32-R-1, 33-R-1 and 34-R-1, Block 3, and situated in the Lake
Worth Leases, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5516, Pfat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished
SECTION 2
That. the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements are
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

Affecting Lots 32-R, 33-R, 34-R 1, and 35-R-1, Block 3
Lake Worth Leases
Easement Vacation # 1;
Being all of that certain 10 foot public utility easement, situated between Lots 32-R and
33-R, Block 3, as dedicated per plat of said Lots and Block, Lake Worth Leases,
according to plat recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5516, Tarrant County, Texas, being 5 0
feet each side of the following described centerline,
Beginning; 10 0 feet, South 54 degrees 18 minutes West, from the most northerly corner
of said Lot 33-R, and being in the common line of said Lots;
Thence, with said line, South 54 degrees 18 minutes West, some 125 feet, to its
intersection with the 601' contour line as shown on said plat, and being at the most
westerly end of said easement being hereby vacated.
Easement Vacation # 2;
Being all of that certain 10 foot public utility easement, situated between Lots 33-R and
34-R-1, Block 3, as dedicated per plat of said Lots and Block, Lake Worth Leases,
according to plat recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5516, Tarrant County, Texas, being 5.0
feet each side of the following described centerline;
Beginning; 10 0 feet, South 19 degrees 28 minutes 40 seconds West, from the most
easterly corner of said Lot 33-R, and being in the common line of said Lots;
Thence; with said line, South 19 degrees 28 minutes 40 seconds West, 36.56 feet, to an
angle point in said line,
Thence, continuing with said line, South 49 degrees 27 minutes West, some 85 feet, to its
intersection with the 601' contour line as shown on said plat and being at the most
westerly end of said easement being hereby vacated.

Beginning, 10 0 feet, South 19 degrees 28 minutes 40 seconds West, from the most
northerly east corner of said Lot 34-R-1, and being in the common line of said Lots;

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Gouncil adopt the attached ordinance vacating three 10-foot wide utility
easements of 125-feet, 121 56-feet and 160 9-feet long, in Lots 32-R-1, 33-R-1 and 34-R-1, Block 3,
and situated in the Lake Worth Leases, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5516, Plat Records, Tarrant
County, Texas
DISCUSSION
The City of Fort Worth, owner of the property described above, has requested vacation of the utility
easements to enable relocation of the easements to the property boundary lines
The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division states that a fee of $1 00 will satisfy
the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections
to this request. An acceptable replat has been received
This request.is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that this action will have no material effect on City funds.
