HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14464 ORDINANCE NO. oc/G~~'t~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ELEVEN DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENTS THAT VARY FROM 10 FEET TO 25 FEET IN WIDTH, AND FROM 88 to 570 FEET IN .LENGTH AND CONTAINING A COMPOSITE OF 42,314 SQUARE FEET (0.9714) ACRES MORE OR LESS, AND SITUATED IN LOTS 1 THRU 5, BLOCK 1, CHAPEL HILL ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That eleven drainage and utility easements that vary from 10 feet to 25 feet in width, and from 88 to 570 feet in length and containing a composite of 42,314 square feet (0 9714 acres) more or less and situated in Lots 1 thru 5, Block 1, Chapel Hill Addition in Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 5863, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and extinguished SECTION 7 That the fee to the land in the above described vacated sanitary sewer and utility easements are hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed ~' SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY Assistant City Attorney Date l'3-vi ADOPTED /'Z`o/ ~n EFFECTIVE ~ ' 2 `0/ ETJ `i ''~ Ef>~ : ,:.>f f ~ r ''# < I ~~ i"J ~, _ ~`k ;~'~. Said easements contain no surface or sub- surface improvements, and were previously dedicated by plat. The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division has determined that an acquisition fee payment of $1 00 will satisfy the public interest. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
