ORDINANCE NO. ~ 7 y~ s AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A UTILITY EASEMENT THAT IS 5-FOOT WIDE BY A COMPOSITE LENGTH OF 331.8 FEET, AND CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 1,659 SQUARE FEET, SITUATED ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF LOTS 1 THRU 4, BLOCK 26 AND LOTS 2 AND 1R, BLOCK 27, RIDGECREST ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1 That the Utility Easement that is 5-foot wide by a composite length of 331 8 feet, and containing approximately 1,659 square feet, situated along the south line of Lots 1 thru 4, Block 26 and Lots 2 and 1R, Block 27, Ridgecrest Addition m Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded in Volume 388-13, pages 34 and 9, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described m Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same ~s vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land m the above described vacated utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of rts passage, and it is so ordained. Hass, Jr , of Fort Worth, Texas, owner of the above-described property, has requested vacation of the above described 5-foot utility easement to enable re-platting of a newly created lot. There are no known existing utilities within said easement, which was obtained by dedication The Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division, states that a fee of $1 00 is required for fee payment. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
