AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 40 FEET
WIDE BY 50 FEET LONG PUBLIC ACCESS EASEMENT,
CONTAINING APPROXIMATELY 0.046 ACRES, AND LOCATED
ADJACENT TO CAMPUS DRIVE AND SITUATED IN LOTS lA
AND 1B, BLOCK 5, OF CAMPUS BUSINESS PARK IN THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE
DATE. '
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1
That a 40 feet wide by 50 feet long Public Access Easement, containing
approximately 0 046 acres, and located adjacent to Campus Dnve and situated in Lots lA
and 1B, Block 5, of Campus Business Park, a Subdivision of Record, as recorded m
Volume 388-128, Page 19, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more
specifically described m Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated access easement is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of rts passage, and it is so ordained.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a shared public access
easement, being 40-feet wide by approximately 50-feet long and containing approximately 0 046 acres
or land, more or less, located adjacent to Campus Drive and situated in Lots 1A and 1B, Block 5,
Campus Business Park, as recorded in Volume 388-128, Page 19, Plat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas
DISCUSSION
Mike Friesen of Plano, Texas, owner of the above-described property, has requested vacation of the
aforementioned access easement to facilitate a re-use of the site for parking and driveway access The
easements were dedicated by plat and the Engineering Department, Real Property Management
Division has determined that an acquisition fee of $1 00 satisfies the public interest. Reviewing City
departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An acceptable
replat has been received
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 8 °
