HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14468ORDINANCE NO. f L~76 AN ORDINANCE VACATING AND EXTINGUISHING A 60-FOOT WIDE BY A VARIABLE LENGTH (82.14-FEET TO 90.8-FEET) OF 200 BLOCK OF CANTEY STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY LYING BETWEEN ST LOUIS AVENUE AND THE UNION PACIFIC RAILROAD AND AS RECORDED IN THE SOUTH HEMPHILL HEIGHTS ADDITION, FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That a a 60-foot wide by a variable length (82.14-feet to 90 8-feet) of 200 block of Cantey Street right-of--way lying between St. Louis Avenue and the Umon Pacific Railroad and as recorded m the South Hemphill Heights Addition, and as recorded m Volume 106, Page 132, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas and as more specifically described m Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of--way and related easement is hereby released and shall revert to the add acent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall take effect and be m full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and rt is so ordained.
