AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING TWO 15 FOOT WIDE UTILITY EASEMENTS, JOHN F
HEATH SURVEY AND CITYVIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID
LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT two separate utility easements of approximately 15 'feet in width and
collectively containing approximately 1,614 square feet and situated in the John F
Heath Survey, Abstract No 641, and a part of Lot 2R1, Block 2 of the Cityview Addition,
as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 192, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as
more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and
extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

COMMENCING at a point in the northeasterly corner of said Lot 2R -1 and also being in the

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating two separate utility
easements of approximately 15 feet in width and collectively containing approximately 1,614 square
feet and situated in the John F Heath Survey, Abstract No 641, and a part of Lot 2R1, Block 2 of the
Cityview Addition, City of Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 192 of the Plat Records of
Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
Cityview Towne Crossing, LP of Dallas, Texas, owners of the above - described property, has requested
vacation of the two separate utility easements to enable facility expansion and development. An
existing water line has been relocated at the owner's expense The Real Property Management
Division has established a fee in the amount of $1 00 as the easement was previously dedicated
Reviewing City Departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. A
replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
