ORDINANCE NO ~ ~~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING AN 11.2 FOOT WIDE BY 480 FOOT LONG ALLEY CONTAINING 5,309 SQUARE FEET, AND LYING ADJACENT TO LOTS 1-9, lOR, 16-32, 33R AND 36-38, BLOCK 1, GRAND VIEW ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That an 11.2 foot wide by 480 foot long alley containing 5,309 square feet and lying adjacent to Lots 1-9, lOR, 16-32, 33R and 36-38, Block 1, Grand View Addition, a Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded m Volume 63, Page 29, Plat Records, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described m Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the dame is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described alley is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4 That this ordinance shall take effect and be m full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and rt is so ordained. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request.
