EXTINGUISHING FOUR ATTENDANT PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
EASEMENTS IN WHICH THREE MEASURE 20 FEET BY 20
FEET AND ONE BEING 15-FEET BY 15-FEET, VACATING AND
EXTINGUISHING A 5-FOOT WIDE BY 381.31- FOOT LONG
UTILITY EASEMENT CONTAINING 0.44 ACRES, VACATING
AND EXTINGUISHING A 20-FOOT WIDE VARIABLE LENGTH
SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT CONTAINING 0.074 ACRES;
ALL EASEMENTS SITUATED IN LOT 1, BLOCK 1, TARRANT
SAVINGS PLAZA ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS•
SECTION 1
That the Ingress/Egress and Utility Easement that is 40-foot wide contammg
0.239 acres, four attendant Public Open Space Easements m which three measure 20 feet
by 20 feet and one being 15-feet by 15-feet; a 5-foot wide by 381 31-foot long Utility
Easement contammg 0 44 acres, and a 20-foot wide variable length Sanitary Sewer
Easement contammg 0 074 acres, all situated m Lot 1, Block 1, Tarrant Savings Plaza
Addition m Fort Worth, Texas and as recorded m Volume 388/138, page 45, Plat
Records, Tarrant County; Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A,
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, be and the same is vacated and
extinguished.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated easements are hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances m conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 40-foot wide
ingress/egress and utility easement containing 0.239 acres, along with four attendant Public Open
Space Easements for which (1) three measure 20-feet by 20-feet and one being 15-feet by 15-feet;
(2) a 5-foot wide by 381 31-foot long utility easement containing 0 44 acres, and (3) a 20-foot wide
variable length sanitary sewer easement containing 0 074 acres, all as shown on the attached exhibits

and situated in Lot 1, Block 1, Tarrant Savings Plaza Addition, as recorded in Volume 388/138, Page
45, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Cash America Management, L P of Fort Worth, Texas, owners of the above-described property, have
requested vacation of the said easements in order to facilitate redevelopment of a 3 91 acre site
Where applicable, existing utilities have been relocated to the server's approval Said easements were
previously dedicated by plat, and the Engineering Department, Real Property Management Division has
determined that an acquisition fee of $1 00 satisfies the public interest
Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this request. An
acceptable replat has been received
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
