Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 14258ORDINANCE NO ~ ~~ J AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SEWER CAPITAL PROJECT FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $58,907 00 FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ACQUISITION OF 13 PERMANENT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS AND 9 TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF 6 PERMANENT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF M-004 PART 2, UNITS 1 AND 2, SANITARY SEWER AND IMPROVEMENTS, PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 1999/00 and in the Budget of the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Sewer Capital Project Fund in the amount of $58,907 00 from available funds for the purpose of funding the construction of M-004 Part 2, Units 1 and 2, Contract 2, Sanitary Sewers and Improvements. SECTION 2. Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason. by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect. SECTION 3 That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 13886 and all other oxdinances and appropriations amending the same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. CommunieAtion DATE REFERENCE NUMBER LOG NAME PAGE 7/11/00 **L-12831 30-13 1 of 4 SUBJECT APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AND ACQUISITION OF THIRTEEN PERMANENT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS AND NINE TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS AND THE ACCEPTANCE OF SIX PERMANENT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF M-004 PART 2, UNITS 1 AND 2, CONTRACT 2, SANITARY SEWERS AND IMPROVEMENTS (DOE 2567 AND 2568) RECOMMENDATION It is recommended that the City Council 1 Authorize the City Manager to transfer $58,907 00 from the Water and Sewer Operating Fund to the Sewer Capital Project Fund, and 2 Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations in the Sewer Capital Project Fund in the amount of $58,907 00 from available funds, and 3 Approve the acquisition of 13 permanent sanitary sewer easements for a total cost of $40,487 00, and nine temporary construction easements for a total cost of $13,414 00, and accept six permanent sanitary sewer easements for a total cost of $6 00, and estimated closing costs of $5,000 00 DISCUSSION These easements are needed for the construction of M-004 Part 2, Units 1 and 2, Contract 2, Sanitary Sewers and Improvements. The project is located in the north end of the central business district in the vicinity of Belknap, Bluff and First Streets.
