AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
4 EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF A UTILITY EASEMENT, RIDGLEA
ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
c SECTION 1

THAT the 4 5 foot wide by 14 4 foot long portion of a 10 foot utility easement,
containing 64 8 square feet, along the west side of Lot 8-R, Block 52, Ridglea Addition,
as recorded in Volume 388-135, Page 39 and corrected in Volume 7490, Page 1241,
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated,
abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached ordinance vacating a 4 5-foot wide by
14 4-foot long portion of a 10-foot utility easement, containing 64 8 square feet, along the west side of
Lot 8-R, Block 52, Ridglea Addition, City of Fort Worth, Texas, as recorded in Volume 388-135, Page
39, and corrected in Volume 7490, Page 1241 of the Deed Records, Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Ken and Joyce Raessler, owners of Lot 8-R of the above described property, have requested this
partial easement vacation to enable the expansion of their residence building There are no known
utilities located in this portion of the easement. Are-plat is not required Reviewing City departments
and public utility companies have raised no objections to this vacation request.
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
