HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 14386ORDINANCE NO. /y38~6 AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING THREE SIXTY FEET WIDE ACCESS EASEMENTS AND ONE FIVE FEET BY EIGHTY FEET ACCESS EASEMENT IN THE HICKS AIRFIELD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1 THAT three access easements approximately sixty-feet m width and situated m the Hicks Airfield Addition, and across Lots 10 and 11, Block 5, across Lots 22 and 23, Block 4, and across Lots 26 and 27, Block 5 of the Hicks Airfield Addition ,and one access easement approximately five-feet by eighty-feet access easement across Lot 36, Block 5 of the Hicks Airfield Addition, Section 3 as recorded m Cabinet A, Shde A, Slide 5273, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated access easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in foil force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained. An acceptable replat has been provided This request is located in the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Fort Worth FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION The Finance Director certifies that this request will have no material effect on City funds.
