AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE
GRANTS FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,000 FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF
FUNDING THE SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT, PROVIDING FOR A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR ORDINANCES
AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
SECTION 1
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 1999-00 and in the Budget of
the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Grants Fund in the amount of
$1,000 from available funds for the purpose of funding the Supplemental Environmental Project.
SECTION 2.
That should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgment shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections,
or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 13886 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the
same except in those mstances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and
appropnahons, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly
repealed.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

SUBJECT APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL PROJECT
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing
estimated receipts and appropriations in the Grants Fund by $1,000 from available funds
DISCUSSION
On January 5, 1999 (M&C C-17212), the City Council approved an interlocal agreement with the Texas
Natural Resource Conservation Commission (TNRCC) authorizing participation in the TNRCC's
Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) Program Under this agreement, the City of Fort Worth is
eligible to receive funds from various entities when they are assessed administrative penalties by the
TNRCC Entities that elect to participate in the SEP program may give up to 50% of assessed fines to
an environmental cause in their local area
Kelly-Moore Paint Company, Inc. has forwarded a $1,000 check as part of their agreed order with the
TNRCC
The Department of Environmental Management will use this money exclusively for the disposal of
household hazardous waste at the Environmental Collection Center
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certifies that upon adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be
available in the current operating budget, as appropriated, of the Grants Fund
