AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING TWO TEN FOOT (10') WIDE UTILITY EASEMENTS,
SAN ROE ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT a 10 foot wide utility easement along the western boundary of Lots 1 and
1A, Block 6R, containing approximately 2,300 square feet, and a 10 foot wide utility
easement along the common property line of Lots 2-4 and 9-11, Block 6R, containing
approximately 1,700 square feet, both in the San Roe Addition, as recorded in Volume
388-167, Page 45, and Volume 388-X, Page 138, respectively, of the Plat Records of
Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated utility easements is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed

SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

SUBJECT UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION, LOTS 1 AND 1A, BLOCK 6R, SAN ROE ADDITION,
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (VA-99-017)
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attache ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide utility
easement along the western boundary of Lots 1 and 1A, lock 6R, containing approximately 2,300
square feet; and a 10-foot wide utility easement along the common property line of Lots 2-4 and 9-11,
Block 6R, containing approximately 1,700 square feet, both in the San Roe Addition, as recorded in
Volume 388-167, page 45, and Volume 388-X, page 138, of the Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
Omni Miller, L.P , owner of Lots 1-4 and 9-11 of Block 6R, has requested the vacation of the utility
easement to expand the buildable area of the site. A replat is not required Reviewing City
departments and public utility companies have raised no objection to this vacation
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
