On December 16, 1998, the Housing Department received notification from TDHCA stating its intention to fund the TU Electric Weatherization Piggyback Program The anticipated contract funding is $34,745 through March 31, 1999 The late notice in funding availability from the State, and staff's delayed request in seeking City Council approval, are attributed to lengthy negotiations with the State over program monitoring findings.
