Home My WebLink AboutOrdinance 13738f ORDINANCE NO I.j `13~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY ORDINANCE NO 13715, BY CHANGING THE LOCATION OF CERTAIN POLLING PLACES DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "B" OF SAID ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR CONTINUED EFFECTIVENESS OF ALL OTHER TERMS AND PROVISIONS, AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, on February 23, 1999, the Fort Worth City Council adopted City Ordinance No 13715, calling for and ordering elections on May 1, 1999, at which elections all qualified voters may vote for the purpose of electing a Mayor at large and eight (8) City Councilmembers from their respective districts, and WHEREAS, since the adoption of City Ordinance No 13715, the City has received notice that the locations of certain polling places described in Exhibit "B" of City Ordinance No 13715 need to be changed, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION I That City Ordinance No 13715, which calls for elections to be held on May 1, 1999, for the purpose of electing a Mayor at large and eight (8) City Councilmembers from their respective districts, is hereby amended by substituting in lieu of Exhibit "B" thereof, a new exhibit entitled Exhibit "B- Revised", acopy of which is attached hereto, incorporated herein, and made a part of City Ordinance No 13715, for all purposes SECTION II That all other terms and provisions of City Ordinance No 13715, except as expressly amended herein, shall remain in full force and effect.
