AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND
APPROPRIATIONS IN THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT FUND IN
THE AMOUNT OF $708,792 FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS FOR THE
PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000 FUNDING FOR
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 6; PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF PRIOR
ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1.
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the vanous City departments for the Fiscal Year 1999-
2000 and in the Budget of the Crty Manager, there shall also be increased estmiated receipts and
appropriations m the Special Assessment District Fund in the amount of $708,792.00 from available
funds for the purpose of funding the public improvements and services for Fort Worth Public
Improvement District No 6.
SECTION 2.
Should any portion, section or part of a section of this orduiance be declared invahd, inoperative or
void for any reason by a court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opiuon or judgment shall m
no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or parts of sections of this ordinance, which said
remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No 13618 and Ordinance No. 13619 and all
other ordinances and appropriations amending the same except m those instances where the
provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and appropriations, in
which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordiiances and appropriations are hereby
expressly repealed.
SECTION 4.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of rts passage,
and rt is so ordained.

FOR FISCAL YEAR-1999-2000
f~ECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council take the following actions regarding Fort Worth Public
Improvement District.. No 6 (PID 6)
1 Hold a benefit hearing concerning the proposed property assessments for F'Y 1999-2000 on
` S`e~tember 28, 1999; and
2. Close the benefit hearing; and
3 Adopt the attached ordinance which levies the proposed assessments, and
4 Adopt the attached appropriation ordinance increasing estimated receipts and appropriations by
$708,792 in the Special Assessment District Fund from available funds.
On September 7, 1999, the City Council adopted M&C G-12656 which directed that certain
improvements and/or services (the "Improvements") shall be provided in PID 6 during the 1999-2000
fiscal year It also adopted the proposed assessment roll and provided notice of this benefit hearing
The improvements to be provided and the costs thereof are.

The $80,358 difference between total costs and assessments reflects a direct reimbursement from the
City of Fort Worth for park maintenance.

WORTH PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DfSTRICT NO 6 AND LEVYING OF ASSESSMENTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 1999-2000
A!I costs of improvements shall be assessed against private property located in the district and the
owners of the property The City Manager has filed with the City Secretary a proposed assessment roll
and an estimate of the assessments against each parcel
Based on the appraised value of the property, and considering the benefits to be received from the
proposed improvements, it is the opinion of the City staff that each parcel. of property will be enhanced
in value by an amount equal to, or more than the proposed assessments upon completion of the
improvements in accordance with the PID 6 management contract between the City and the Principal
Management Group
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Finance Director certiiaes that upon adoption of the attached appropriation ordinance, funds will be
available in the current operating budget, as appropriated, of the Special Assessment District Fund.
