., ORDINANCE NO. ~J 0~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A PORTION OF RICHLAND STREET, CHAPEL RIDGE ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-WITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 THAT Richland Street from the northeast corner of Lot 22 to the northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 1, Chapel Ridge Addition, and being 60 feet wide by approximately 1,263 feet long, containing approximately 75,780 square feet in the J P Huffaker Survey, Abstract as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 4826, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. P Huffaker Survey, Abstract No. 819, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows; BEGINNING at a 1/2" iron pin found, said point being the northwest comer of Chapel Ridge Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 3859, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas and said point also being in the east right-of-way line of Chapel Creek Boulevard (a 80' public right-of-way); THENCE North 00'15'34" East, along the east right-of-way line of said Chapel Creek Boulevard distance of 60.00 feet to a point; THENCE North 89'56'00" East, leaving said east right-of-way line of Chapel Creek Boulevard, a distance of 1261.93 feet to a point; THENCE South 02'46'50" East, a distance of 14.33 feet to a point, said point being a point in an existing fence line along the north right-of-way line of Richland Street (a variable width public right-of-way); THENCE South 00'40'01" East, a distance of 45.67 feet to a point, said point being a point in the south right-of-way line of said Richland street and also being the northeast corner of Chapel Ridge Addition, an addition to the City of Fort Worth as recorded in Cabinet A, Slide 4826, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas; THENCE North 89'56'00" East. along said north right-of-way line, a distance of 1263.43 feet, to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1 739 acres of land. Are-plat has been submitted to the City of Fort Worth On May 26, 1999, the Fort Worth Plan Commission recommended approval of this request. Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objections to this vacation request.
