AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING UTILITY EASEMENT DEDICATED FOR RIDGMAR
ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS
SECTION 1
THAT the following utility easement, as more specifically described in Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated,
abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished
1 A 10-foot wide by variable length sanitary sewer easement, containing
approximately 3,835 square feet, and located on Lots 1 through 4, Block 48,
Ridgmar Addition and recorded in Volume 388-19, Page 32 of the Deed Records of
Tarrant County, Texas
SECTION 2
That the fee to the land in the above described street right-of-way and easement
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

Description for
Part of a Sanitary Sewer Easement
For Lateral No 4397
To be vacated
BEING a part of the easement for Sanitary Sewer Lateral No 4397, to be vacated
across Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, Block 48, Ridgmar, as shown by plat recorded in Vol 388-19,
Page 32 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, and being more particularly described
as follows
BEGINNING at a point on the north line of an existing utility easement, said point being
N 0°28' W, 5 0 ft. and S 89°32' W, 81 7 ft. from the southeast corner of said Lot 1, Block
48, Ridgmar, said Lot corner having a found reference "T", cut in concrete, in the
centerline of Sevilla Road, bearing N 89°32' E, 30 0 ft;
THENCE S 89°32'W, with said line, 20 4 ft. to the westerly south corner of said
easement;
THENCE N 61 °05 W, with the southerly line of said easement, 371.9 ft. to a point on
the west line of said Lot 4,
THENCE N 1 °10' E with said line, 11:3 ft.,
THENCE S 61 ° 05' E, with the northerly line of said easement, 394.9 ft. to the place of
beginning and continuing 3,835 square ft. of land

SUBJECT UTILITY EASEMENT VACATION (VA-97-058) RIDGMAR ADDITION (LOTS 1 THRU 4,
BLOCK 48)
RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a 10-foot wide by
variable length sanitary sewer easement, containing approximately 3,835 square feet, and located in
Volume 388-19, Pg 32 of the Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas.
DISCUSSION
The City of Fort Worth's Real Property Division has requested that the above-described easement be
vacated, as it is no longer needed for the intended purpose. The existing sanitary sewer Lateral No
4397, and its related appurtenances have been abandoned, and the relocation of said utility has been
achieved Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objection to this
request. A replat is not required
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 7
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar ($1 00) fee satisfies the
interests of the City
