HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 13464ORDINANCE NO. /.~,~1 ~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A 15 FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT, RIVERBEND WEST BUSINESS PARK, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. THAT the 15 foot wide drainage and utility easement, located 5 feet north and 10 feet south of the common lot line between on Lot 8 and Lot 9, Riverbend West Business Park, as recorded in Volume 388-209, Pages 56, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated drainage and utility easement is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3 That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. DISCUSSION Mr Mike Milliom, 2501 Ludelle Street, Fort Worth, Texas, owner of the above described lots, has requested that the 15-foot drainage and utility easement lying across the common lot line at Lots 8 and 9 be vacated because the easement has been re-routed by plat revision and the underground storm drain pipe was also relocated accordingly Reviewing City departments and public utility companies have raised no objection to this request.
