AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING AN "EMERGENCY ACCESS" PORTION OF AN
EXISTING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY EASEMENT, CITYVIEW
ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS•
SECTION 1.
THAT the "emergency access" portion of an existing drainage and utility
easement, located on Lot 1, Block 100, Cityview Addition, and containing 2,028 square
feet as recorded in Volume 388-217, Pages 29 and 30, Plat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and
permanently closed and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated "emergency access"
portion of an existing drainage and utility easement is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION
BEING a 0.047 acre tract of land situated in the JOHN F HEATH SURVEY,
ABSTRACT N0. 641, and being a portion of Lot 1, Block 100, Cityview, an
addition to the City of Fort Worth according to the plat recorded in Cabinet
, A, Slide 3479, Plat Records, Tarrant County, Texas and being a portion of an
Emergency Access, Drainage and Utility Easement as dedicated per the plat
recorded in Volume 388-217, Pages 29 and 30, said Plat Records, and being
more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows:
BEGINNING at a 5/8" iron pin set for the most easterly southeast corner of
said Lot 1, Block 100, Cityview, said 5/8" iron pin being the most southerly
southwest comer of Lot 3R10, Block 2, said Cityview;
THENCE N75'59'S0"W, a distance of 30.50 feet to a point;
THENCE N18'O6'S6"E, a distance of 68.50 feet to o point;
THENCE along a common line between said Lot 1 Block 100 and Lot 3R70,
Block 2, the following courses and distances:
S71 49'05"E, a distance of 30.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin set for ell corner;
S18'10'55"W, a distance of 16:70 feet to a 5/8" iron pin set at the begin-
ning of a curve to the left having a radius of 2455.00 feet and whose
long chord bears S17'36'13'W, a distance of 49.56 feet;
Along sold curve to the left, through a central angle of 01'09'26", an arc
length of 49.58 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,. and containing 2028 square
feet or 0.047 acres of land.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating the "emergency
access" portion of an existing drainage and utility easement, located on Lot 1, Block 100, Cityview
Addition, and containing 2,028 square feet as recorded in Volume 388-217, Pages 29 and 30, Plat
Records of Tarrant County, Texas.

Connell Red Oak, Ltd , 2351 Northwest Highway, Suite 2301, Dallas, Texas, owner of the above
subject lot, has requested the inscribed "emergency access" portion of the easement be vacated to
facilitate a revised development pattern Reviewing City departments and public utility companies
have raised no objection to this request.
This request is located in COUNCIL DIStRICT 3
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar ($1 00) fee satisfies the
interests of the City
