AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A TEN FOOT (10') WIDE EASEMENT VACATION,
STONEGATE ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS;
PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT vacating a 10 foot wide easement containing 10,474 square feet of land,
located in Block 11, Stonegate Addition, as recorded in Volume 388/178, Page 75 and
76, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in
Exhibits A, B, and C attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the
same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated easement is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a ten foot (10') wide
easement containing 10,474 square feet of land located in Block 11, Stonegate Addition, Volume
388/178, Pages 75 and 76, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas
DISCUSSION
Alamo Partners, L.P , 201 Main Street, owner of the above-described subject lot, has requested the
vacation of the easement so as to replat same with the adjoining land The easement was acquired by
dedication and contains no utility facilities Reviewing City departments and public utility companies
have no objections to this request. No utilities were placed therein A satisfactory replat has been
submitted (FS-98-007)
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar ($1 00) fee satisfies the
interests of the City
