DISCUSSION
Fossil Park Joint Venture, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the City vacate the
above described street right-of-way so that the subject right-of-way may be replatted with the
adjoining land The subject right-of-way, acquired by prescription, contains telephone facilities
Arrangements have been made to provide easements on the replat of the adjoining property for
the relocation of these facilities Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have
raised no objections to this request This request was recommended for approval by the City
Plan Commission on April 23, 1997 A satisfactory replat has been submitted for this request
The subject right-of-way no longer functions as a thru street and is therefore not required for the
provision of legal access
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
