HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 12855 ORDINANCE NO. ~~ AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND EXTINGUISHING A 26 FOOT WIDE STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY, HAGLER AVENUE FROM STANLEY AVENUE WESTWARD TO THE EAST LINE OF EXISTING ALLEY RIGHT-OF-WAY, TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1 THAT the 26 foot wide street right-of-way abutting Lot 9, Block 22, Frisco Heights Addition as recorded in Volume 204-A, Page 96 and Lot 2, Block 10, Prospect Heights Addition, as recorded in Volume 63, Page 59, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed and extinguished SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in the above described vacated street right-of-way is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed SECTION 4. Ronnie Shaw, owner of all abutting property, has requested that the above described street right-of-way be vacated The subject street, acquired by dedication, contains utility facilities Easements will be dedicated on the replat of the subject property for access to all existing utilities Reviewing City departments and private utility companies have raised no objections to this request This request was recommended for approval by the City Plan Commission on December 20, 1996 A satisfactory replat has been submitted for this request This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 9 FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION.
