HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 12896ORDINANCE NO ~o~S9~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2, 3, 5 AND 8 OF ORDINANCE NO 7323, AS AMENDED, BY REVISING THE BOUNDARIES OF SINGLEMEMBER DISTRICT NUMBERS 2, 3, 5 AND 8, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF ALL ORDINANCES, REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES AND PROVISIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, PROVIDING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS SECTION 1 That Section 2 of Ordinance No 7323, as amended, be and the same is hereby amended, and after being so amended, shall hereafter read and be as follows. "SECTION 2 "For the purpose of determining the qualifications as to candidacy, election or appointment of a member to Place No 2 of the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, District No 2 shall be, and the same is hereby established and shall comprise all of that portion of the City located within the following described boundary• "DISTRICT NO 2 "BEGINNING at the Intersection of Interstate Highway 35W (North Freeway) and Northeast 28th Street; THENCE East on Northeast 28th Street to North Riverside Drive, THENCE South on North Riverside Drive to State Highway 121 (Airport Freeway), 1 THENCE Southwest on State Highway 121 (Airport F`r'eeway) to the West Fork of the Trinity River; THENCE Northwest and Southwest with the West Fork of the Trinity River to North Main Street; THENCE South on North Main Street to West Bluff Street; THENCE West on West Bluff Street to North Houston Street;
