Ordinance No. ~ ~ ~
AN ORDINANCE INCREASING THE ESTIMATED RECEIPTS AND APPROPRIATIONS IN THE
STREET IMPROVEMENTS FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,069 00 FROM AVAILABLE FUNDS
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING A CONTRACT WITH TRI-TECH CONSTRUCTION INC., FOR
THE RECONSTRUCTION OF CHESSER BOYER ROAD, WESLEY STREET, AND FOSSIL DRIVE,
PROVIDING FOR A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE, MAKING THIS ORDINANCE CUMULATIVE OF
PRIOR ORDINANCES AND REPEALING ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH,
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS.
SECTION 1
That in addition to those amounts allocated to the various City departments for the Fiscal Year 1996-97 and in the Budget of
the City Manager, there shall also be increased estimated receipts and appropriations in the Street Improvements Fund in the
amount of $20,069 00 from available funds for the purpose of funding a contract with Tri-Tech Construction Inc., for the
reconstruction of Chesser Boyer Road, Wesley Street, and Fossil Drive.
SECTION 2.
Should any portion, section or part of a section of this ordinance be declared invalid, inoperative or void for any reason by a
court of competent jurisdiction, such decision, opinion or judgement shall in no way impair the remaining portions, sections, or
parts of sections of this ordinance, which said remaining provisions shall be and remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 3
That this ordinance shall be cumulative of Ordinance No. 12629 and all other ordinances and appropriations amending the
same except in those instances where the provisions of this ordinance are in direct conflict with such other ordinances and
appropriations, in which instance said conflicting provisions of said prior ordinances and appropriations are hereby expressly
repealed.
SECTION 4
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

The 1993 Capital.~:lmproven~~rtit;Pcog.rern includes funds for.the improvement of Chesser
'Boyer Road (Bonnie Brae to North Beach, Wesley Street (Chesser Boyer Road to Fossil
Drive), and Fossil Drive (Wesley to North Beach).
On;.Novernber.1,9,„ 1;9;96,(M&C BH-0168); the City Council held a benefit hearing and
levied: a5sessmentsfor Chesser foyer Road: from-Bonnie Brae Street to N Beach Street
On January 14, 1997 (M&C BH-0172), the City Council held a benefit hearing and levied
assessments for Fossil Drive from 155' west of Wesley Street to N Beach Street
T,he ;street improvements will include. the construction of standard concrete pavement:,-,
driveway approaches, and sidewalks where shown on the plans

Ordinance by committing to 12% M%WBE participation and documenting good faith effort
The City's goal on this project is 18%.
This project is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 4, IVlepsco 63D and 64A.
