AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING, CLOSING AND
EXTINGUISHING A FIFTY (50) FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE EASEMENT,
TRACT A, BLOCK 111 R, WEDGWOOD ADDITION, TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REVERSION OF FEE IN
SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1
THAT the drainage easement measuring 50 feet in width, containing 23,549
square feet in area located on Tract A, Block 111 R, Wedgwood Addition, as recorded in
Volume 388-16, -Page 101, Plat Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and as more
specifically described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference
be and the same is vacated, abandoned and permanently closed- and extinguished
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described vacated drainage easement is
hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after
the date of its passage, and it is so ordained

EFFECTIVE
Being 50' wide Drainage Easement situated in the J B McDermott Survey, Abstract
No 1063 City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and being part of Tract A, Block
111-R Wedgwood Addition, An addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County,
Texas according to Plat recorded at Volume 388-16, Page 101 Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas and being more particularly described as follows
BEGINNING at an "X" cut in concrete found for the most Northerly corner of said Tract
A, said "X" being the point of intersection of the Southwesterly right-of-way line of
Hulen Street with the Southeasterly right-of-way line of Granbury Road, said "X" also
being the beginning of a curve to the left having a central angle of 31°30'01", a radius
of 690 00 feet and a chord bearing and distance of South 60°43'59" East, 374.59 feet;
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction with the said southwesterly line of Hulen Street
and with said curve the to left for an arc length of 379 35 feet to a point for a corner at
the end of said curve,
THENCE South 76°29'00" East continuing with the Southwesterly line of Hulen Street
for a distance of 93.21 feet to a point for a corner at the most Easterly corner of said
Tract A, same being the most Northerly corner of Block 110, Wedgwood Addition,
THENCE South 45°01'00" West along the Southeasterly Line of said Tract A and the
Northwesterly line of said Block 110, a distance of 58 64 feet to a point for a corner;
THENCE North 76°29'00" West, a distance of 62 57 feet for a corner, said corner also
being the beginning of a curve to the right having a central angle of 31 °30'01 ", a radius
of 740 00 feet and a chord bearing and distance of North 60°43'59" West, 401 73 feet;
THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along said curve to the right an arc length of
406 84 feet to a point for a corner in said Southeasterly line of Granbury Road,
THENCE North 45°01'00" East with the said Southeasterly line of Granbury Road for a
distance of 50 00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 23,549 square feet
or 0 541 acres of land, more or less

3USJECT EASEMENT VACATION (VA-96-069) 50 FOOT WIDE DRAINAGE EASEMENT
RECOMMENDATION.
It is recommended that the City Council adopt the attached Ordinance vacating a drainage
easement measuring 50 feet in width and containing 23,549 square feet in area located on Tract
A, Block 111 R, Wedgwood Addition, as recorded in Volume 388-16, Page 101, P R T C T
DISCUSSION.
USA Engineers, Inc , on behalf of 9 SC Associates, Ltd ,owner of the subject property, has
requested that the City vacate the above described drainage easement The subject easement,
acquired by dedication, contains no utility facilities Reviewing City departments and private
utility companies have raised no objections to this request A satisfactory replat has been
submitted for this request
This request is located in COUNCIL DISTRICT 6
FISCAL INFORMATION/CERTIFICATION.
The Land Agent for the City of Fort Worth has determined that a one dollar fee satisfies the
interest of the City of Fort Worth in this request
